I know I'm a little late on this post. I want to post more - just so I can look back for myself on these memories, but it's sooo hard to find the time!! Anyways, we had a great 1st Christmas for our sweet girl. I know she didn't know what was going on, but I sure had fun pretending like she did! ha!
Lisa and I are wanting to start all kinds of traditions with our girls. Making Christmas cookies, putting out reindeer food, Elf on a Shelf, etc. etc. We're just sooo excited that they are so close in age and can share in the Christmas excitement together. Lisa and I always had the best Christmases. Mom and Dad always made them so magical for us. I hope I can do the same for my Emily.
Here are a few pics from the holiday season...
Emily's 1st Shopping Trip to Belk!
Emily visited Mimi for the 1st time, while I put out her Christmas decorations.
Emily had SEVERAL Christmas outfits. This is outfit # 1. It was WAY too big, but we made it work. ;)
Outfit # 3. Christmas stocking onesie I bought off Etsy. Notice my poor baby's legs. She got her 2 month shots on the 23rd. =(
Always Remember Mimi - Especially at Christmas
Santa Came!
Outfit # 5. A gift from Aunt Lisa.
I-chatting with Aunt Jean and Cousin, Jacob in Colorado! That's a toy Santa Aunt Jean has playing for Abby...ha!
Downtime for Mommy and Emily After a Great 1st Christmas - We fell asleep together on the couch soon after this pic was taken. =)
Emily and Abby each got to open 1 present on Christmas Eve (just like Lisa and I use to get to do). This was from me to both girls....
It's a book explaining where Mimi lives. I put her picture inside with a little note from her to the girls.
We went to Harry The Potter to make Emily a Christmas ornament. I wanted to get her a really cute "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament, but could never find the Perfect one, so I thought this would be cute - we got her hand print on it. Lisa and I thought it might be fun to let the girls make an ornament with their hand print each year. All in all, I ended up with about 5 Baby's 1st Christmas ornaments for her!! ha!!
